CHAMPAIGN, Ill. /MUSEWIRE – Music News/ — ContinuuCon 2023, the fifth international Haken Continuum Conference, is slated for May 17–19 in Palmela, Portugal, Haken Audio announced this week. This year’s focus will be on every electronic musical instrument that features the Continuum’s internal sound engine, the “EaganMatrix.” This includes the new Osmose synthesizer from French manufacturer Expressive E, as well as the Continuum Fingerboard, ContinuuMini, and EaganMatrix Module for Eurorack.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (MuseWire) — Haken Audio has announced the latest update for their Continuum Fingerboard hands-on electronic instrument and MIDI controller. The number of carefully crafted internal preset sounds has dramatically increased from 18 to 66. Included in these new sounds are designs using non-linear feedback filtering for wind physical models, granular sounds based on predefined timbre data, and sounds which take advantage of the other new design options available in 5.30.
