APACHE for Kurzweil: First Rate Third Party Sound Set Available Now For PC3 Series
Waltham, Mass. (MuseWire) – Brian Cowell, long-time soundware developer who currently runs the Mastering V.A.S.T. forum website, has released a stunning new set of 100 programs for the PC3 series. Drawing on many years of experience with programming Kurzweil synths, Brian has put together a collection of sounds that both complement the PC3’s existing sound set and further unlock the PC3’s synthesis potential. The set consists mostly of synthetic timbres – everything from leads, pads and synth basses to otherworldly sound effects – which are brimming with a character all their own. Complex and infused with personality by a master craftsman, the Apache set is both practically useful and creatively inspiring.
Just as Brian’s expertise with synthesis is apparent on the Mastering V.A.S.T. forum as he helps Kurzweil users, it’s also front and center in the Apache set. Brian has taken advantage of the PC3’s advanced architecture, putting FUNs, cascade mode and dynamic V.A.S.T. all to good use.
“The Apache set completely blew me away. It raises the bar for third party soundware developers working with any platform.”, says Kurzweil Soundware Department Manager, John Richmond.
The Apache sound set is currently available at Brian’s website www.cunka.com .
