Native Instruments kicks off GUITAR RIG HERO public voting phase
LOS ANGELES and Berlin — Native Instruments’ worldwide GUITAR RIG HERO video contest has just entered the public voting phase. Over 100 entries have been submitted to the dedicated YouTube channel by musicians from all over the world, reflecting the acclaimed versatility of GUITAR RIG with a wide range of musical styles, and showcasing astonishing creative ideas and musical capabilities on guitars, basses, violins, keyboards and even egg slicers.
With prizes worth over $14,000 reserved for the first twenty places in the contest, Native Instruments now calls on the public to participate in the audience voting to make sure that the best entries get the top rankings. Everyone can rate each video on a scale from one to five via a regular free YouTube account, with a Top 30 display on the NI website reflecting the current contest rankings at any time. The audience award winners will be determined on October 14th.
On top of the public voting by the YouTube community, a high-profile pro guitarist jury featuring artists like Deftones, Dweezil Zappa, Mogwai and many others will judge the most popular entries for an additional grand prize.
