In related news, fans of ‘40 Moyet Moments’ can rejoice. It is returning with a ten-part Reissues Special series. But there are a couple of changes… Firstly, it is being renamed The Alison Moyet Podcast – it does what it says on the tin, according to the Moyet newsletter sent out this week. this time Alison and host Steve Coats-Dennis are joined in conversation with the albums’ collaborators: Pete Glenister, The Insects, Anne Dudley, and Guy Sigsworth. Each will explore reflections and memories with two full-length episodes per album, offering stories covering the writing, recording, context and songs from each. The series will launch on August 11th with the first instalment examining ‘Hometime’, with subsequent episodes being released each Tuesday through to October 13th.
