Symphony Essentials, a New Film Scoring Instrument from Native Instruments Announced
Native Instruments announced this week the Kontakt-powered sound library, “Symphony Essentials,” which they describe as five meticulously sampled orchestral instruments, featuring pristine recordings that cover all fundamental playing techniques, each in an elegant, intuitive interface.
Initially introduced as part of the latest KOMPLETE 11 ULTIMATE bundle, they are now available separately. They deliver the same professional recordings and signature interface as the acclaimed SYMPHONY SERIES with a streamlined set of articulations.
The orchestra sections include: SYMPHONY ESSENTIALS BRASS, SYMPHONY ESSENTIALS STRINGS, and SYMPHONY ESSENTIALS WOODWIND.
Each full “collection” library runs up to 6.5GB of data and works with both the free KONTAKT 5 Player or full version of KONTAKT 5. Each collection is $199 (such as “Brass”), or also available in “solo” version for $99, or “ensemble” for $149. Bundle and cross-grade pricing available, so best to review the various options when logged into your existing N.I. account.
For those with KOMPLETE 9-11 (standard or Ultimate), it’s more cost effective to upgrade to the new KOMPLETE 11 ULTIMATE bundle with hard drive, obviously.
