BURBANK, Calif. (MuseWire) – Originally announced at Musikmesse 2010 where Eric Persing demonstrated some of the new features, Spectrasonics this weekend announced that the latest v1.3 update for Omnisphere and Trilian are now available for download. Notable to these updates is likely enhanced support for some issues with Pro Tools 8 LE on Windows, and the new “VIP library” which is a special selection of new sounds and patches for customers who have both software applications installed and authorized.

According to the company, the updates comprise “Exciting new interactive performance features, Groove Lock Envelopes and brand new patches/multis for Omnisphere and Trilian – now available as a FREE update!”

The Spectrasonics site has an updated video of Persing from the Musikmesse show, which now has some updated “angles” inserted to better illustrate some of the features he was showing off.

Registered owners can now log-in to their account to download the updates. A laundry list of updates follows, below:

Omnisphere and Trilian Software v1.3.1c Update
This update adds the following features and enhancements:
• New ‘Latch' performance features for Live Stack modes allow notes from any part to be “frozen”
