Moxie’s ‘Nourishing The Arts’ CD Release Party in Seattle
SEATTLE, Wash. (MuseWire) — On Tuesday, June 19th, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., an unprecedented 25% of Moxie’s sales will be donated to three artists that are making a difference as they go after their dreams while supporting charities they believe in at the same time.
25% of all sales that day will be donated to three artists that are working with Protectomatic Music & Entertainment (PME) and producer Loren Weisman. All three artists are working on FSRP projects. FSRP (Freedom Solutions Recording Plan) is a new style of releasing an artist to the public.
The Freedom Solutions Recording Plan empowers an artist to create an industry caliber product at a grassroots budget while maintaining control over their music, image, and career. The PME team works with artists to budget every dollar and account for every minute to make the plan as effective as possible. Blending musical goals with philanthropy, PME designs a fundraising plan for artists to acquire the needed budget of a recording while advancing a cause of their choice by pledging a percentage of profits to charity.
Also this evening, PME will be releasing three FSRP albums from two local artists from Seattle and a band from Houston, Texas. All the groups are donating to charity. The proceeds of the Moxie donation will be made to Tamara Lewis, Darrius, and The Kore Ionz. These three artists are in the pre-production and fundraising stages of their projects and preparing to move to the next phase.
“Please come down to Moxie, and see what all the buzz is about. Meet three of PME’s new artists and be one of the first to get three new recordings being released that night,” said Weisman.
Moxie is located at 530 1st Avenue North in the lower Queen Anne section of Seattle. Serving modern American cuisine in a warm, casual setting, Moxie offers an eclectic menu and a global wine list that changes seasonally.
