LAVALOU What’cha goNNa do? Canadian Duo VanOz & Dash Attacks YouTube
Laval, Quebec (MuseWire) – On November 4th, 2010 Canada’s national television network, Radio-Canada aired across the country a show entitled ‘Enquête’ depicting allegations and corruption in some of the country’s most prominent municipalities. On that specific show a song entitled ‘Lavalou, What’cha gonna do…’ made its debut with a musical duo called ‘VanOz & Dash’. The feedback ever since has been tremendous and growing exponentially, but ‘the politicians are furious,’ say the duo.
The Band VanOz & Dash is comprised of VanOz, a veteran guitarist/entrepreneur; and Dash, a seasoned drummer who plays on this odd set of drums with a huge 28’’x24” base drum designed exclusively by VanOz. Together, coupled with special effects, this musical techno duo will pound your heart away, with their debut album soon to be released.
“What we are doing says VanOz, is pretty revolutionary as a band. With the advent of the Internet and many other marketing tools available today, a band can self-promote itself as an initial step in order to obtain more exposure.”
VanOz is presently writing music for a movie script that he just finish entitled ‘Devil’s Pension’. The movie VanOz says, is similar to a ‘Quentin Tarrantino meets The Bundys’ genre. There’s violence, comedy, sex and love. It is not a musical, but the music will surely be noticeable, you won’t be sleeping in this venue, says VanOz.
X-Pose Communication, the company that owns all the rights to the song and video, have decided without further adieu to air the video in its entirety on YouTube for all to see.
‘Lavalou, what’Cha gonna do…’ can be downloaded from iTunes. A ten percent donation from all the proceeds via CD sales, downloads and accessories, will be going to both Montreal’s children hospitals.
