Akai Pro announces new Version 1.3 MPC Software for Renaissance, Studio and Fly
MuseWire NEWS: Today, Akai Pro has announced updated MPC Software with a “completely redesigned plugin architecture,” now with support for multi-timbral VST and AU plugins, and access to the same plugin across multiple sequences. Also notable is the SP1200 Ring, offering an all-new “Vintage Mode” with a classic SP1200 trick to give you raw 12-bit grit, grime, and decay.
Other new features include: Improved work-flow to add and remove sample chops by double clikcing the mouse, or using the split/combine feature from the LCD.
New easy-grid and waveform zoom allow you to zoom in and out on the computer screen, by holding Shift and pressing arrow keys on the MPC.
Instant program creation allows for drag and drop of entire sample folders onto a pad to create complete programs instantly.
The upgrade is free for owners of current model MPC controllers such as the Renaissance, MPC Studio, and MPC Fly.
